Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie wine of great terroir. Consistently balanced, full-bodied, elegant and distinguished.

Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie Domaine des Ratelles comes from parcels located on the Haye Fouassière, and benefits from exceptional soil. We work it to provide the best possible conditions for the vines and to produce wines of great terroir. Always balanced, full-bodied, elegant and distinguished. Geographical situation: 15 ha hillside vineyard on the highest point of La Haye-Fouassière. Geology: Surface of sand with small quartz pebbles that warm the soil, subsoil of gneiss and facies clay. Grape variety: 100% Melon B or Muscadet (on 3309) Age of vines: 35 years Vineyard management: Guyot nantais pruning, trellised and grassed vines. Vinification: pneumatic pressing, settling, temperature control Maturation: 6 months exclusively on fine lees in temperature-controlled underground vats. Bottling: In-house. Exclusively on lees from April following harvest. Marketing: From June following the harvest. Serve at 11° (not chilled), within 5 years of harvest.
