Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Cru Château Thébaud exceptional terroir low yield

This wine comes from a single plot selected from our Domaine St Martin in the heart of the historic Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, in the commune of Château Thébaud. This exceptional terroir, combined with low yields and gentle vinification, has earned this cuvée the "Cru Château Thébaud" label, with 24 months' ageing on lees in vats. Appellation : Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Geographical location: Exceptional parcel of our Domaine Saint Martin in the commune of Château Thébaud. Terroir : Ancient Armorican Massif soil composed of Gneiss and Château Thébaud granite. Grape variety: 100% Melon B or Muscadet Yield: 45 hl/ha Vine age: 35 to 45 years Planting density: 6,500 vines/ha Vineyard management: Guyot nantais pruning, trellised and grassed vines, HVE and TERRA VITIS certifications Vinification: Slow pressing, light settling, temperature control Aging: Exclusively on fine lees for 24 months, stirring of the lees. Bottling: In-house, 24 months after harvest. Marketing: After a minimum of 3 years bottle ageing The power of this terroir will surprise your taste buds from aperitif to cheese, and is ideal with shellfish, cooked fish or oriental dishes.
