It was in the heart of the Loire Valley vineyards that in 1927, driven by a passion for vines and wine, Joseph Verdier founded his company. It developed from father to son to become in the mid-sixties a trading house of national renown in Loire Valley wines.

In 1965, through a happy alliance with the Bordeaux group Taillan, the company became an expert in export markets and continued to progress in France, always remaining close to the land and the vine.

Driven by the demands of the profession of winegrower, Joseph Verdier is committed daily to revealing the best of his terroirs thanks to meticulous selection work and a real mastery of cultivation, maturing, vinification and packaging techniques. Joseph Verdier is looking for the most accessible wines for everyone.
