COMBIER DISTILLERIE
Description
The first transparent orange liqueur in the world: Triple Sec, created in 1834 in Saumur by Jean-Baptiste Combier.
The first perfectly transparent orange liqueur, triple sec, was the major innovation of the founder of the distillery, Jean-Baptiste Combier. First produced with a still located in the back room of the Combier-Destre confectionery created in December 1834, L'Original Combier liqueur is the result of a triple distillation of sweet and bitter orange peel with water and sugar. Without any added flavoring, the recipe and process have remained unchanged since 1834.
