A 100% Chenin sweet wine, very well balanced between a nice roundness and a pleasant vivacity.
A sweet white wine from Anjou made from predominantly schistose, siliceous or clayey-schistose soils along the river "Le Layon". WINE CHARACTERISTICS ALCOHOL: from 11% to 12,5% alcohol by volume RESIDUAL SUGAR: < 1 g/l ACIDITY: 3 à 4,5 g/l TASTING COLOR: deep golden with green highlights NOSE: honey, acacia flower, lemongrass, apricot, quince, fresh fruit PALATE: rounded, well-balanced, fruity, smooth FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS: aperitif, foie gras, fish in sauce, blue cheeses, fruit-based desserts or frangipane cake SERVING TEMPERATURE: 8°C AGEING POTENTIAL: 5 years A white wine of noble rot, it is enriched with subtle and particular aromatic complexities over the years.
