Description
Sweet white wine 2020, 100 % chenin, appellation Coteaux du Layon, 80 g/l of sugar
This sweet white wine made from Chenin grape variety, is called Patrimoine. It is produced on the appellation Coteaux du Layon. This is a 2020 vintage. The soil is composed of clays and schists. The vines are 25 years old. After successive sorting on vines in order to select the bunches affected by Botrytis cinerea (noble rot), the harvest is carried out manually. The juice is obtained after pneumatic pressing. Alcoholic fermentation and aging takes place in vats for 6 months. Wine tasting : a beautiful golden yellow and bright color. The nose is complex on notes of honey and exotic fruits. The palate is balanced between liveliness and sweetness. The aging potential is between 5 to 15 years. This wine is appreciated as an apéritif, with candied gizzard salads, duck breast and some cheeses. Operating temperature between 6 to 8°C. 2022 is the official year of certification in Organic Agriculture.
