CABERNET D’ANJOU 2023
Maine-et-Loire

Chateau de Bellevue

Description

Tenderness and acidity at the same time... freshness and delicacy... a perfect Loire balance!

The Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon grape varieties were harvested at very good maturity at the very beginning of October in order to obtain well-ripened grapes with a potential of 13% vol. The pellicular maceration of a few hours for part of the volume, the other part by direct pressing, allowed to extract the fruit aromas and the pink color. The richness and finesse of the aromas is obtained by controlling the temperatures during the alcoholic fermentation. The color is salmon pink of good intensity with delicate apricot reflections. The nose is fruity and ‘gourmand’ at the same time, combining aromas of fresh red berries with a hint of sour candy and an impression of peaches. The attack on the palate is tender. Like the nose, one has the impression of sucking on a marshmallow paste with red fruits and rose... Tenderness and acidity at the same time... freshness and delicacy... a perfect Loire balance!
