For 5 generations, the Blouin family estate has been located near Angers, in Saint Aubin de Luigné and now covers 25 hectares. Partners since 2009, Céline and Jean-Christophe Blouin are committed to sustainable agriculture promoting demanding environmentally friendly practices, certified Terra Vitis and HVE. All the wines are vinified and marketed by the estate, in the spirit of the Vignerons Indépendants. Production is controlled from the vine to the bottle, for sparkling or still wines. Each year, the wines are awarded medals in various competitions. Very attached to the cultivation of hillside vines, the Domaine specializes in grape varieties such as Chenin Blanc (60% of the vineyard) and Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon (40% of the vineyard) which are well suited to the Loire Valley. The development of Chenin is highlighted for the freshness it brings to wine, especially in the Loire Valley.
