ACKERMAN CREMANT DE LOIRE BRUT 1811
Loire-Atlantique
Description
1811, An exceptional vintage, called the year of the Comet
Grape varietials: 60% Chenin, 30% Cabernet franc, 10% Chardonnay Vineyards: Saumurois. Type of vinification and particularities: Vinified in our Vaudelnay cellars, the Chenin, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc grapes are harvested by hand and at optimum maturity. The pressing is done in whole bunches (not destemmed), in order to limit the crushing of the grapes. Each grape variety is vinified separately in order to keep its own typicity until the time of blending at the end of winter. For this 1811 vintage, we blend the most fruity and expressive chenins from clay soils with very ripe and concentrated Chardonnay and Cabernets from very chalky plots. Aging: 18 to 24 months on slats Residual sugar: 12 gr/L Alcohol: 11.5% vol
