The domain Champ Chapron is a familiy-run estate dating back to the 17th century, approximately 20kms (12 miles) south of Nantes and 16km
(9miles) from Ancenis.The vineyeard is situated close to the banks of the Loire on the slopes that lead down to the Divatte river. The wines from our estate are supple and fruity, and are very suitable for ageing. The also have mineral notes reflectinf the local terroir.

Located on the rocky slopes facing the Loire, the soils on the estate are composed of schist, gneiss mica-schist and quartz. The domain has received the High Environmental Quality certification. Thanks to a lot of hard work, we received the HEV certification : “From a HEV vineyard”. The HEV is a very demanding certification and it gives consumers new environmental protection guarantees. Consumers can be assured that the farmers and the winegrowers respect the eco-system, contribute to keeping the countryside looking beautiful and are very careful with all their wine-making practices.
