CHATEAU DE LA GRANGE, Baudouin and Victor de GOULAINE winery - owner and winegrower. A long family wine-making tradition.
The Château de la Grange, also called Château de la Grange Barbastre, belongs the Goulaine family since 1777. The estate is located 35km in the South of Nantes in the Loire Valley. It is managed by Victor de Goulaine, winegrower.
This family owned estate extends on 50 hectares, where vines develop mostly on siliceous-claysoils ; someparcels are on metamorphic rock (amphibolite). This allow us to obtain fruity, mineral and well-balanced wines.
We produce Muscadet Côtes de Grand Lieu sur lie AOP, Gros Plant du Pays Nantais sur lie AOP, IGP's Loire Valley. Our IGP’swines are produced in single varietal (such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Gamay in red or rosé, Grolleau rosé, Merlot red), or also in bi-varietals (such as Pinot Gris-Sauvignon -semi sweet ; Gamay-Merlot red) or even Colombard-Folle Blanche.
