The Domaine covers 42 acres within the Chinon production. The Carbernet franc and the Chenin are driven in biological biodynamic agriculture too. At Domaine de Noiré, three types of soil produce a rich and diverse range of wines. Clay soils produce crisp, fruity wines. Limestone soils produce more complex and tannic wines. Finally, the gravelly soils give the wines notes of black fruit and a lovely suppleness on the palate.
