The Château de Passavant is located in the south of Anjou in the Haut-Layon at the source of the river of the same name, the estate covers 70 ha including 56 hectares of vineyard conducted in organic farming since 1998 and in biodynamic farming since 2011.

Claire and Olivier Lecomte, partners in the SCEA David-Lecomte, have managed the estate since 1993. They represent the fourth generation of winegrowers leading the family château.
