Domaine du Petit clocher is the work of passionate people.
Our estate run's over 90 hectares, largely planted on the slopes formed by Layon's river.
Soil is made up of schiste wich give great ageing qualities for our sweet white and a good liveliness for our white dry.
Schiste brings to our red wines freshness and straightforward.
We also grow vine on confidential area, magmatic rock in Thouars area. These rocks harder and warmer gives more concentration and a good ageing qualities to our wines.
We vinify Anjou appellations like Anjou blanc, rosé de Loire, Cabernet d'Anjou (semi-dry), Anjou rouge, Anjou villages, Crémant de Loire (sparkling) or Coteaux du Layon. We produce as well, 2 PGI a sauvignon and a chardonnay.
