ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

LA SABLESIENNE Sells a selection of B2B products in the Snacks, Jams and spreads, Patisserie categories.

History of the brand "The recipe for Sablé, a pure butter cookie, has been handed down from generation to generation, with strong roots in the town whose name it bears, Sablé-sur-Sarthe, in the heart of the Pays de la Loire region of France. In July 1670, Madeleine de Souvré, better known as the Marquise de Sablé, a guest of honor at the court of the Grand Condé, offered a multitude of small round cookies for the famous maître d'hôtel Vatel to taste to the King's brother, a gourmet in his own right. He found them "very to his taste and of honest lightness", and ordered them to be served to him every day in honor of the Marquise de Sablé. The little Sablé was born. To create these gourmet recipes, La Sablésienne chose noble ingredients sourced mainly from Western France, such as flour from a Sarthois miller, free-range eggs and fresh butter. Our recipes contain no additives, colorants, preservatives or GMOs. At La Sablésienne, cookies are still baked on metal plates and picked by hand as they were over 50 years ago. La Sablésienne has more than thirty recipes, thanks to its traditional know-how, which guarantees the quality of its cookies. The company develops innovative and attractive recipes, and produces different textures and flavors, perpetuating the art of French pastry-making.
